How To Post Draft To Blog In Windows Live Writer Beta
Microsoft has recently released Windows Live Writer Beta, as part of the Windows Live Essentials package. Those of you who often write blog posts using Windows Live Writer might be wondering where to find ‘Save Local Draft’ and ‘Post Draft To Blog’ in the new Live Writer.
Well, don’t worry. These two options are still present in Windows Live Writer Beta, only they remain hidden and are not immediately visible in the new MS Office style ribbon UI.
Click on the File Menu, then click on the arrow next to the Save button. This will show up the options ‘Post draft to blog’ and ‘Post draft and edit online’. If you simply want to save a local draft of the post, click the Save button.

If you find it irritating to every time go to the File menu to post draft to blog, then add it to the Quick Access Toolbar by right clicking on it.
That’s it. From now onwards, you can post draft to blog with a single click.
